How graduated compression works
Every pair of Vix Socks uses graduated compression — meaning the pressure isn't the same all the way up your leg.
- Tightest at the ankle, gradually easing as it climbs toward your knee.
- Gravity naturally pulls blood downward, where it can pool in your lower legs over the course of a day.
- The graduated squeeze works with your veins, encouraging blood to keep moving back up toward your heart instead of settling in your ankles and calves.
This is the same principle behind both of our compression levels — 15–20 mmHg and 20–30 mmHg just apply that pressure gradient with different amounts of force, for different needs.
